CoD BO6 Season 1: Warzone release date and roadmap confirmed (2024)

After plenty of waiting, the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 season is officially under way – much to the delight of fans.

Season 1 contains a wealth of brand new content, including new weaponry, Warzone integration and a battle pass that's packed full of items to unlock.

But before we jump in and try to prestige, let's take a look at what to expect.

When is CoD BO6 Season 1?

Black Ops 6 season 1 released on 14th November 2024.

Previous Call of Duty seasons have launched on a Wednesday, meaning Black Ops 6 has slightly changed the formula to its seasons by starting on a Thursday.

When is the UK start time for CoD BO6 Season 1?

The UK start time for Black Ops 6 Season 1 was at 2pm GMT.

This start time was unusual, as it was several hours earlier than what Activision had confirmed before its release.

On the plus side, it meant players could load into the action earlier than ever before!

What do we know about CoD Black Ops 6 Season 1?

As seen in the official poster above, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 will bring back fan-favourite modes and maps on both regular mode and Warzone.

Modes like Prop Hunt, Ransack and MP ranked play will be included. Hideout, Heirloom and Extraction are the maps you'll see in the regular online game, and the Area 99 Resurgence map will drop in Warzone.

As for weapons, we can expect a cool-looking drill melee, the Sirin 9mm special weapon, a Krig C assault rifle, and the AMR Mod 4 sniper.

We also know that Season 1 of Black Ops 6 will feature standard and BlackCell versions of the battle pass.

If Season 1 sticks to the formula of previous Call of Duty seasons, the battle pass will feature everything ranging from new weaponry to skins for your favourite Operators.

The BlackCell features exclusive variations of the content available in the battle pass, along with a price tag of £25.99/$29.99.

CoD BO6 Season 1 battle pass rewards

The Season 1 battle pass is packed full of items for players to unlock.

Ranging from the Saug SMG to additional Double XP tokens, there's something for everyone in the standard pass, along with the BlackCell.
